Doug Fir Lounge
Stepping inside the Doug Fir Lounge feels like you’ve entered a sleek future remodel of Twin Peak’s The Great Northern.
Varnished log cabin walls gleam in the dim light, and alcoves filled with throw pillows languish under the gaze of a mounted stag’s head. Dark leather and brass fill the restaurant, and a long, opaque and underlit bar stretches the length of the building, harkening to Blade Runner or Tron. The hallway to the bathroom ends abruptly in a dead end of mirrors, forcing you to backtrack. This place is so cool.
Inexpensive venue for music and comedy, stylish and intimate restaurant for date night, outdoor patio for summer fun - get you a venue that does it all. Conveniently located on East Burnside street, the Doug Fir Lounge has something for everyone and is about as close to the center of Portland as you can get. This venue usually delivers wonderful sound quality and has been vying for Bump’s #1 spot with Revolution Hall for some time now. A must-experience for locals and visitors alike.
